My name is Jonathan Keshishoglou (although I often shorten it to “Jonathan Kesh,” as some people find it easier), an writer, editor and teacher in Queens, New York. Recently completed a Creative Writing MFA at The New School, and currently working as a writing/English teacher.

I come from a background in features writing, but I’ve dabbled more than a fair amount in book reviews, entertainment news, science news, humor writing, etc. I don’t have a particular beat so much as I enjoy telling stories I’ve never heard before.

Other icebreaker about me: I’m from the Bay Area in Northern California, and moved to New York just a month before Hurricane Sandy having never experienced East Coast weather.
